We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you're not happy with your order, we're here to help.
1. Your Right to Return
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order and return items within
14 days of receiving your order without giving any reason. This is known as your 'cooling-off period'.
The 14-day cancellation period begins on the day you receive your item(s), or the last item if you've ordered multiple items that arrive separately.
2. Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return, items must meet the following conditions:
• Unworn and unused: Items must be in their original condition, unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
• Original tags attached: All original tags, labels, and packaging must be intact and attached to the items.
• Original packaging: Items should be returned in their original packaging where possible.
• Hygiene seal intact: For hygiene reasons, certain items (such as underwear, swimwear, and earrings) must have the hygiene seal intact and unbroken.
• Proof of purchase: Please include your order number or proof of purchase with your return.
Please note: We cannot accept returns of items that have been worn, washed, altered, or do not have their original tags attached.
3. Items That Cannot Be Returned
For health and hygiene reasons, the following items cannot be returned unless they are faulty:
• Underwear, lingerie, and hosiery (if the hygiene seal has been broken)
• Swimwear (if the hygiene seal has been broken)
• Pierced jewellery and earrings (if the seal has been broken)
• Face masks and cosmetics
• Personalised or made-to-order items
• Sale or clearance items marked as 'final sale' or 'non-returnable'
4. How to Return Your Items
Step 1: Notify Us

Please include your order number and the reason for your return. We will respond within 1-2 working days with return instructions.
Step 2: Package Your Return
Pack your items securely in their original packaging if possible. Include a copy of your order confirmation or delivery note with your order number clearly marked. Please ensure all items are properly packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Important: We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service for your return. We cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit. Please retain your postage receipt as proof of return.
5. Return Shipping Costs
Standard Returns
You are responsible for the cost of returning items unless:
• The item is faulty or defective
• We sent you the wrong item
• The item was damaged during delivery
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If you receive a faulty, damaged, or incorrect item, please contact us immediately at office@ameliafashion.co.uk We will arrange for collection or provide you with a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
6. Refund Processing
Inspection and Processing Time
Once we receive your return, we will inspect the items to ensure they meet our return conditions. This inspection process typically takes
3-5 working days from the date we receive your return.
Refund Method and Timeline
If your return is approved, we will process your refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please allow:
Refund Timeframes
• Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 working days
• PayPal: 3-5 working days
• Bank Transfer: 3-5 working days
• Klarna: Processed according to Klarna's terms; your payment plan will be adjusted
• Digital Wallets: 3-7 working days
What Will Be Refunded
We will refund the full purchase price of the returned items, including any original standard delivery charges (if you return your entire order). We cannot refund:
• Express or premium delivery charges
• Return postage costs (unless the item is faulty or incorrect)
• Gift wrapping or personalisation fees
Notification
We will send you an email confirmation once your return has been received, inspected, and approved. If your refund is declined, we will notify you of the reason and arrange to return the items to you.
7. Exchanges
At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item for a different size, colour, or style, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you require.
This ensures you receive your preferred item as quickly as possible and helps us process your request more efficiently.
8. Faulty or Damaged Items
Reporting Faulty Items
If you receive an item that is faulty, damaged, or defective, please contact us immediately at office@ameliafashion.co.uk
Please include:
• Your order number
• A detailed description of the fault or damage
• Clear photographs showing the fault or damage
• The date you received the item
Our Response
We will respond to your enquiry within 1-2 working days. If the item is confirmed as faulty or damaged, we will offer you:
• A full refund, including return postage costs
• A replacement item at no additional cost
• Store credit for the value of the item
We will arrange for collection of the faulty item or provide you with a prepaid return label. You will not be charged for return postage in these circumstances.
Your Statutory Rights
This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. You have the right to reject goods that are not as described, not fit for purpose, or not of satisfactory quality.
9. Delivery Timeframe
Standard Delivery
Please note that standard delivery typically takes
10-14 days from the date of dispatch for your order to arrive. This timeframe includes processing time and delivery time.
Your 14 day return period begins from the day you receive your items, not from the day you place your order.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking information. You can use this to monitor the progress of your delivery.
If your order has not arrived within 14 days of dispatch, please contact our customer service team at office@ameliafashion.co.uk , and we will investigate the matter for you.
10. Non-Receipt of Returned Items
We strongly recommend using a tracked delivery service when returning items. If you return items without tracking and we do not receive them, we cannot be held responsible for the loss.
Please retain your proof of postage. If there is a dispute about whether items were returned, you may be asked to provide this documentation.
11. Partial Returns
If you ordered multiple items and wish to return only some of them, you can do so. We will refund the price of the returned items only. Original delivery charges will not be refunded for partial returns.
